About the author:

Li Siyi (Zoe Lee）is currently a Ph.D. student in Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts at the Academy of Arts University of Novi Sad. She holds a Master’s degree in Media Arts from the Frosinone Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in TV Editing from the Communication University of China. Li Siyi is also a co-founder of the Italian clothing brand SASSOVITA and an independent curator for art exhibitions. Having traveled to over 20 countries, Li Siyi serves as an art guide for cultural exchanges between China and Italy, as well as the organizer of art research and study programs between the two countries. She is also a teacher, with 10 years of teaching experience in the art of broadcasting and performing arts.

Ovoga puta predstavljamo radove iz oblasti primenjene fotografije autorke iz NR Kine, Li Siyi, koja je nakon master studija u Italiji svoje školovanje nastavila na doktorskim umetničkim studijama na Akademiji umetnosti u Novom Sadu.

MEMORY
Photography series “Memory” is part of the Sassovita bridal collection. The clothing designs for this series are created by her twin sister. The collection portrays the memory of a love story of gay couple, starting from the discovery of the protagonist’s sexual orientation to finding true love and eventually losing her partner. The entire process is depicted as a flourishing and then wilting flower, conveying a sense of living freely and not tragically.
